Their activities often involve the smuggling of these items across international borders or within countries, bypassing legal regulations and sanctions. Arms traffickers operate in clandestine and often dangerous networks, supplying weapons to various actors, including criminal organizations, insurgent groups, terrorists, and even governments involved in illicit or covert activities.
