Before Salvadore Ramos murdered children and teachers he told people who he was and what he was going to do. Ramos stole cats and brutally killed them then put them in a sack and showed them to people. Ramos was mean, angry and violent. No precautions were taken, no real help came to him and certainly no parents bothered to raise Ramos in a healthy environment. Someone gave this person thousands of dollars to buy guns and ammo. Exactly why all this is being ignored is why it will continue with the next mental wreckage that is triggered.

We can't solve the problem of mass shootings in general, but let's focus on doing something fruitful about mass school shootings. (1) Data show that the average age of mass school shooters is young, 18 and below. Why? Well, because school is either a current or recent experience for those young people. It's a world they recognize and probably one they have had issues with. The Texas perp had just turned 18 and quickly thereafter bought two semi-automatic rifles. Had the minimum age for gun purchase in Texas had been, say , twenty-one, the 19 sudents and 2 teachers who are now dead would still be alive today. (2) Fortify the schools. Single point of entry, and multiple points of exit. Armed guards at the single entry point.
