Being white in America means being the least qualified person in the room but having the most prestigious--and most senior--position. Positions that Black people and people of color have to be routinely over-qualified and supremely educated for. 

Ms. Barrett has only 2 years experience in private practice, has never tried a case nor argued an appeal and only become a judge for the first time in 2017. A Black woman or a woman of color in Ms. Barrett's position would have to have twice the qualifications just to secure a position of senior partner at a large law firm.

Aside from the implications of what a majority Conservative Supreme Court means for working class and Black people in America, what else does Ms. Barrett's astronomical rise to the most powerful court on the planet mean for advancing the goals and agenda of White Supremacy
