o The Michigan Football is under full-frontal assault from a soon-to-be defunct NCAA and its nearly impotent and horribly ineffective committee on infractions. Fueled by lasciviousness of our Big Ten rivals and driven by wanton envy of Michigan’s on-field success and dominance, the weakened NCAA is bound and determined to make an example of head coach Jim Harbaugh and our beloved Wolverines football team. This should be just the fuel and formula to propel the unstoppable freight train that is the 2023 Michigan Wolverines football squad to more lop-sided victories, a 3rd consecutive Big Ten championship and a 3rd consecutive appearance in the 4-team college football playoff. And it could be one of the final chapters for the NCAA as the official governing body of college football, as super-conferences take over and we ebb toward the commencement of the 12-team playoff era in 2024. I say bring it on with your feeble and feckless claims of rule 2 violations and baseless claims of cheating and sign-stealing. Wolverine Fan nation stands by you Coach Harbaugh and we stand ready to help you weather this storm and move forward into the final 4 games of the regular season. o Frivolous NCAA investigations should only making this dominant Michigan team pound its conference opponents and rivals into submission that much further o We would like to pose a few rhetorical questions: § With all of the potential for transfer portal tampering, NIL recruiting violations, players transferring intra-conference, players signing endorsement deals, coaches actively pursuing other jobs mid-season, why is the focus of the NCAA and its infractions division, the potential of a low-paid staffer possibly traveling to opponents’ games and filming them? Is this really the most serious and important violation that is occurring in the college football world? Or is this clearly the vendetta and manifestation of some bruised egos at the NCAA § If Michigan was not in the midst of a 21-game Big Ten winning streak and did not have a record of 33-3 since the beginning of 2021, do you really think that the NCAA would be pursuing this investigation? Do you really think the our closest rivals would have supplied the information and evidence for this investigation? If Michigan had gone 8-4 each of the past 2 seasons, do you really think that this NCAA investigation would be happening?

Michigan State Recap o The ease with which Michigan won the game was stunning. o With an outcome of 49-0 in a rivalry game, one would typically conclude that the losing team didn’t really try hard or play well. That there were multiple turnovers and mistakes that led to the lop-sided lead and large margin of victory. o However, MSU had no turnovers in the 1st half and really did not play poorly at all. Michigan scored 3 touchdowns in the 1st 19 minutes of the game, with 3 long drives of over 70 yards, which all featured key 3rd down conversions and J.J. McCarthy completing difficult passes with pinpoint accuracy. o MSU defense played hard and made several good plays in the 1st half. o MSU tackled well and there were minimal missed tackles.

Michigan’s masterful use of the transfer portal in 2022 and 2023 had led to this widening talent gap and to the amazing success and streak of 20 consecutive victories. o Olu Oluwatimi, Eyabi Okie in 2022 o Several key players in 2023: o o Penn State at Ohio State Game o From a Michigan fan’s perspective, we should feel better about playing both of these teams o Drew Allar – no downfield passing game o o Iowa got absolutely hosed on Saturday by the officials
