On this week's program host, Phil Tower welcomes Brandon Hewitt, attorney, and COO of Michigan Auto Law. Brandon joins Phil to discuss the report on “The most dangerous intersections in Kent County for 2021.” The annual list of the most dangerous intersections in Kent County is based on police car accident report data for 2021. The COVID pandemic and its resulting lockdowns significantly impacted traffic volumes and accidents across Michigan in 2020, reducing motor vehicle crashes to their lowest levels since 2010.

In our second segment this week, Phil welcomes Brad Barnett Executive Director, VisitKeweenaw.com
. As the Executive Director of Visit Keweenaw, Brad has the job of promoting Keweenaw’s unique attractions and amenities with visitors and members of the media.  Brad also works with the community’s economic development leaders to enhance the region’s visitor economy.  Brad shares with Phil the best spots and reasons why those who may be thinking of a visit to the Keweenaw Peninsula this winter should make the trip. The Keweenaw Peninsula is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Brad shares with us the adventure of exploring the largest peninsula in the largest lake on earth. As Brad says, "Winter is when the Keweenaw shines." Brad reminds us that Michigan Highway 41 travels right through the center of the peninsula, which provides an easy but scenic route from the city of Houghton at the base of the Keweenaw, all the way to the northernmost tip of the peninsula.
