Only 8 1/2 minutes in, and I've heard 3 completely false details in your story. Some that are your opinion, but they're just not the facts. I was at LSU during the time Derrick was on his killing spree, during his last years of killing before he was caught. I very much know most of the details and knew while it was happening, as we women in the area were terrified and of course were following all the facts as they were happening. First, Yes- this can definitely be looked at as a "University" serial killer because his last several victims were along the immediate borderline of campus. His last several victims were students and we couldn't even go to class or leave our homes without being terrified. We knew he was stalking his victims before the killings. And he was good at it. I lived very close to the campus gates and a few of his victims were fellow students that were my neighbors. Yes- can be looked at as a "University killer". Also, they were not looking for a white man because serial killers are normally white- they never came out with a description until an eye witness saw a white truck parked on a bridge at night, west of Baton Rouge, with a white man standing outside of it, and a truck driver was sure he saw a naked woman in the truck. Soon after, a woman's body was found under that bridge. With the same DNA on her as the serial killer they were looking for. So that's why we were all looking for a white man. Last, and not nearly as big a deal, he was not born in Baton Rouge. Doesn't matter, but you'd think these Facts would be made clear when reporting on this. I only listened for those first 8 1/2 minutes, and that's all I wanted to point out.
