Ohio State's defense was one of the very best in the nation in 2023, and at the rate that Buckeye stars are announcing that they'll return for another season, Jim Knowles' defense could be even better in 2024.

Friday, a pair of Buckeyes announced that they would be back for the 2024 season, including Jack Sawyer, who just recorded three sacks in the Cotton Bowl, and Lathan Ransom, who was a huge standout in the back end of the defense until suffering a season-ending injury at Wisconsin.
