When America works as it’s founders envisioned.

330 million citizens making their will known to 435 representatives.

435 representatives constructing laws, apportioning the budget, creating the rules based on the direct input from the 330 million.

100 senators filtering the proposed laws, rules, budgets presented by the representatives, as to how how they will impact they state they represent.

Once those two interests have been reconciled, the end result is signed off on by the President.

How America works now.

330 million people trying to elect one representative, the president, and get their will imposed through him.

The percent of the 435 representatives that are in his party and the percent of the 100 senators that are in his party bowing to the agenda of this one person. Because he “has the mandate of the people.” You know, just like a dictator.

The remaining balance of representatives and senators of the other party fighting and blocking every agenda because that is their only tool to control this TOP DOWN approach to governance.

The solution.

If you want to make America great again (really hate using that politically charged phrase) then you need to stop this president worship and this belief that it’s all about electing the right president.

You need to highly vet your representatives. You need to try and get the best representative you can get, elected.

You then need to be a participant in the process. Writing, emailing , and calling your representative often. On every single issue.

You need to restore the BOTTOM UP form of governance.

I’m going to take a wild guess that 95% of people reading this have no idea who their representative even is. And 99.9999% have never emailed or called them.

If you don’t know who your representative is off the top of your head, you are the problem. If you have never called, emailed, or visited your representative then you are the problem.

You can be the solution though. It’s starts with how you decided to act moving forward.
