The basis for that argument was something suggested by criminologist, Kim Rossmo when he recommended - based on the geographic proximity of the crimes - that Quebec Police look at the cases together. It was supported by another criminologist who stated that it is "statistically improbable" that a serial killer didn't commit three similar murders in the space of 19 months in the Eastern Townships.
