The Trump Administration has not held a daily White House briefing in over six months. Critics say this is an erosion of transparency and democracy caused by the President's indictment of what he calls the “fake news” media’s incivility. President Trump says "the reason Sarah Sanders does not go to the 'podium' much anymore is that the press covers her so rudely & inaccurately, in particular certain members of the press.”
