This is not the 1937 Voice of Death, which is a lost episode of the series. This is the 12/08/1940 episode of the same title, but different story, with Bill Johnstone and Marjorie Anderson in the leads. The original 1937 episode exists only in script form. It opened with a drum beat and the line, "The room is dark. All earthly sounds and sights are shut away."
