Story Transcript:

Ko: "얏호!
En: "Yah-ho!"

Ko: " 김민지가 말했다.
En: Minji Kim said.

Ko: "이제 식사를 즐길 차례인데, 모두 똑같은 메뉴로 김밥을 주문하고 있어!
En: "Now it's time to enjoy the meal, but everyone is ordering gimbap from the same menu!

Ko: 이런 식으로는 좋은 저녁이 될 수 없어.
En: It can't be a good dinner this way."

Ko: "김민지는 옆 테이블에 시선을 돌렸다.
En: Minji Kim turned her gaze to the table next to her.

Ko: 거기엔 누군가 다른 메뉴를 먹고 있었다.
En: There was someone eating another menu.

Ko: 그녀는 궁금해서 그쪽 방향으로 끌어다보았고, 갑자기 식욕이 불타올랐다.
En: Curious, she looked in that direction, and suddenly her appetite flared up.

Ko: 그래서 걷어차고 손으로 다른 사람의 음식을 가져왔다.
En: So I kicked and took someone else's food with my hands.

Ko: 그런데, 이것은 후회를 초래한 긴 밤의 시작일 뿐이었다.
En: However, this was only the beginning of a long night of regret.

Ko: 그녀가 가져온 음식은 불쌍해서 먹을 수 없는 정도로 매우 덜 익었다.
En: The food she brought was so undercooked that I couldn't eat it out of pity.

Ko: 이것이 그녀가 다른 사람의 음식을 훔쳤을 때의 처단이었다.
En: This was her punishment for stealing other people's food.

Ko: 다음 날, 김민지는 한식당으로 돌아갔다.
En: The next day, Minji Kim went back to the Korean restaurant.

Ko: 그녀는 전날 밤의 교훈을 받았다.
En: She had the lesson of the night before.

Ko: 그녀는 다른 사람의 식사를 존중하고자 다시 한테이블에 앉았다.
En: She sat down again at one table to respect the other's meal.

Ko: 이제 그녀는 자신의 음식뿐만 아니라, 다른 사람의 음식도 즐길 수 있었다.
En: Now she could enjoy not only her own food, but also the food of others.
