The tale follows Nicholas, a kindly toymaker, who builds a magical snowman named Ice Terry that comes to life on Christmas eve. However, the evil Ice Queen feels threatened by Ice Terry's winter magic and kidnaps him to her ice palace. Young villagers Flora and Dax set out to rescue Ice Terry, seeking help from a legendary reindeer herd. After battling the Ice Queen's icy forces, the reindeer and Nicholas finally confront her in a climactic struggle.Ultimately the spirit of Christmas reconciles the embittered Ice Queen after Ice Terry melts her frigid heart. Together they transform the ice palace into a radiant place full of holiday cheer. The story ends joyfully with the Ice Queen joining the villagers and creatures in a grand celebration welcoming peace after their hardship triumphing over hatred and isolation.
