Leander's current city manager Rick Beverlin resigned on Aug. 22 to accept a city manager position in Nacogdoches, Texas. At its regular meeting Thursday, Sept. 21, Leander City Council selected Isaac Turner to serve as interim city manager while the city begins its search for a new manager. Contingent upon finalizing a contract with the city, Turner will start Monday, Oct. 16. We look atthat process for some context on this episode.
