On this month's episode of the Sailing Show Abby Ehler takes a look at the wider area of working within the sailing industry, in particular the roles of Race Officers, Umpires, Judges & Mark Layers.
Abby's guests include Sofia Truchanowicz, from Poland, a world-leading international sailing judge and umpire who currently works as part of the umpire team for the new global sailing series, SailGP.  Plus Maria Torrijo from Spain, an International Judge, International Umpire and International Racing Official, one of only a few in the world who can exercise all three functions, who is currently the Principal Race Officer for the highly competitive TP52 Series, and Jacqui Roberts who manages the Race Officials Development training program, including the Race Officials Academy for the RYA, the national governing body for sailing in the UK.
