Since its opening, the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway has been tended, tidied, and trimmed by crews from WORK Inc., a Dorchester nonprofit that employ workers with disabilities. The Greenway has cut ties with the group in favor of a for profit company out of Kentucky. James Cassetta, the president of Work, says the Conservancy has made specious claims about his team’s ability, insisting the real story is they don't want disabled people about the place. The Executive Director of the Conservancy has canceled his appearance on the show but WORK's Jim Casetta will join us.
