Story Transcript:

Hi: दूर दूर तक खिचे जा रहे हैं भीड़भाड़ भरे चौक के अनेक रंग और शोर गुल.
En: Pulling in different directions, the crowded square was filled with various colors and the noise of the crowd.

Hi: आरव और रिया पोशाक की तलाश में ज़हरीला हवा में सॉल्ट और मसालों की सुगंध के साथ घूम रहे थे।
En: Arav and Riya wandered in the poisonous air, filled with the fragrance of salt and spices, in search of clothes.

Hi: उनकी नजरों के सामने एक दुकान आती है।
En: Their eyes landed on a shop.

Hi: दुकानदार नील, एक जिद्दी और कपटी आदमी, अपने पुराने चश्मे को ठीक करता हुआ, दुकान के बाहर की ओर देखता है।
En: The shopkeeper, Neel, a stubborn and deceitful man, adjusted his old glasses and looked towards the outside of the shop.

Hi: "नील भैया!
En: "Neel bhaiya!

Hi: यह लहंगा कितने का है?
En: How much is this lehenga?"

Hi: ", रिया पूछती है।
En: Riya asked.

Hi: नील की जीवन रेखाएं इतनी महंगाई में उसके चेहरे की मुस्कान में बदल जाती हैं।
En: Neel's life lines transformed into a smile on his face at the mention of the high price.

Hi: "महारानी, यह तो सिर्फ 5000 रुपये का है।
En: "Maharani, this one is only 5000 rupees."

Hi: " "5000 रुपये?
En: "5000 rupees?

Hi: नील भैया यह तो बहुत ज्यादा है।
En: Neel bhaiya, that's too much.

Hi: कुछ कम कीजिए प्लीज़।
En: Can you reduce the price, please?"

Hi: " आरव, नील से विनम्रता से वार्तालाप करते हुए बोला।
En: Arav requested politely, engaging in a conversation with Neel.

Hi: "2000 रुपये का तो सुन लो आरव भैया", नील आरव की नाराजगी को समझते हुए बोला।
En: "Just consider it for 2000 rupees, Arav bhaiya," Neel said, understanding Arav's irritation.

Hi: किंतु जैसे ही आरव और रिया उस प्रस्ताव को स्वीकार करने लगे, नील फिर बोला, "अरे, पर यह तो मैने कमीशन शामिल किए बिना बताया।
En: However, as soon as Arav and Riya were about to accept the offer, Neel said again, "Oh, but I didn't mention that without including my commission.

Hi: मेरा कमीशन शामिल किए हुए 3000 रुपये होगा।
En: My commission will be an additional 3000 rupees."

Hi: "बातचीत जारी रही, लेकिन नील की माँग घटती नहीं थी।
En: The negotiation continued, but Neel's demand did not diminish.

Hi: आरव और रिया अपनी खोज में और भी दुकानों की जांच करने का फैसला किया।
En: Arav and Riya decided to search for more shops in their quest.

Hi: कुछ समय बाद, वे एक सुंदर काले रंग के लहंगे को चुनते हैं और उसकी कीमत पर सहमत होते हैं।
En: After some time, they chose a beautiful black lehenga and agreed on its price.

Hi: वे इसकी मुलाकात की खुशी में आपस में मुस्कुराते हैं, जैसे कि वे एक बड़ी जंग जीत गए हों।
En: In the joy of their discovery, they smiled at each other as if they had won a great victory.

Hi: दुसरे दिन, वे वापस नील की दुकान पर गए और उन्हें बताया कि किसी अन्य दुकान से उन्होंने सस्ते में बहुत ही अच्छा लहंगा खरीदा है।
En: The next day, they went back to Neel's shop and told him that they had purchased a much better lehenga at a cheaper price from another shop.

En: Neel's face lost color, realizing how he had lost his customers.
