That’s why “diets” are so popular. It’s temporary to see results for a season. You don’t see much advertising for “lifestyle” changes for long term health benefits

Our culture is all about getting together to eat. That's how spend time and catch up/maintain some connections. That's how we maintain relationships. When I started eating cleaner and working on health, I had to start asking friends to do other stuff to meet up - for coffee, walking, an actual event - instead of going to go eat.
