Pappa challenge the followers of the Pappa and the Pup Show to a 24 week 80's style (Pappa's style!) fantasy baseball league. Open to the first 10 followers to the show page, any one that finishes above the Pappa in the final standings will be welcomed to join an episode of the Pappa and the Pup Show to "dog" the Paps on how bad they beat him. League Details below:
This league is gonna be early 1980's style.....It will run for 24 weekends..fri-sun. You start your lineup and go head to head against an opponent...after 24 weeks....the top 5 places pay out....entry is open to the first 10 followers of the Pappa and the Pup Show on Spreaker...you post ur lineup to pappaandthepup@gmail.com by friday noon...and we have at it. The Pappa and the Pup Show, after we know we have enough entries...will generate a random schedule. It's head to head....your lineup consists of 11 slots...C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, OF, OF, OF, DH, offensive team, and a tiebreaker player. It's very simple...you get 1 point for every run your designated player scores...except....you get to designate 3 players as your RBI guys...so those 3 get 1 point for every RBI they get(their runs do not count).....the offensive team gets a point if they score 7 runs in a game......ur tiebreaker is a run scorer. THIS is how we did fantasy baseball 30 plus yrs ago...the nice thing about this is you only have to worry about fri- sun.
