Welcome to The Lovely Biertrix, a new monthly podcast hosted by roller derby commentator of the same name and coming to you from the north of England.  This show will bring you insights into the sport with lively conversation from around the world and with guests who clearly have their finger on the pulse when it comes to the women’s game. Kicking off season one The Lovely Biertrix chats with the mysterious woman behind Denver Roller Derby’s Twitter account. ‘Individual 2’ shares some of the secrets to the success of their social media and what clubs can learn to build their own following.  It’s all about engagement and coming up with witty posts, clever gifs and timely information that tells the audience they are the ones to follow.
In conjunction with her monthly show, The Lovely Biertrix will also be hosting Facebook Live segments on the WiSP Sports page where she will talk about different aspects of the sport, offering inside information and tips to help players whether they are new to the sport or seasoned players.
