When the Melanie Gibb interview first came out, I immediately had extreme reservations about it. I felt there were a lot of red flags in her behavior that did not seem normal for someone who was concerned for the kids, or for someone who had no involvement in the crimes themselves. She seemed a little too happy, for example, about getting news that Tammy had died. At that time there was a lot more resistance from a lot of people who saw her as some kind of true hero, faith martyr type, etc., because of her whole "confrontation" with Lori -- but for me -- Lori's behavior toward Melanie was a lot more telling about Melanie's true nature itself -- that she was in on the plans, and had been privvy to them from day 1. People really did hate me for not buying her act.
