All of the bodies that were found on or near Gilgo Beach were women. That is, all but one. The one person whose remains were found next to the other victims was a man who was dressed as a woman.
This detail has confounded investigators for years as they have tried to put together a profile of who the killer could be, but after new information has come to light after the arrest of Rex Heuermann, it would seem that this unidentified victims remains being found at Gilgo beach might not be that out of character for our suspected killer after all....
We also hear from Heuermann's family, who put out a statement through their lawyer on Friday.
