The Trump administration has released new regulations that may dramatically cut the number of legal immigrants allowed to enter and stay in the US. The new laws allow rejection of green cards and visas if the applicants have low incomes, little education and have used Medicaid, food stamps, or housing vouchers. Acting US Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Ken Cuccinelli says this will encourage "self-reliance and self-sufficiency for those seeking to come to or stay in the United States.
