On Day 9 of competition at the FEI World Equestrian Games, Chris talks to Misdee Wrigley Miller, the first woman to compete in the carriage driving at a world championships. This is Misdee’s second World Equestrian Games; she made her debut on the team in Normandy in 2014 where the team finished in 4th place. Misdee has been preparing for these games in Europe and in Kentucky which she believes will help her team of horses cope with the heat and humidity here in Tryon. She tells Chris what she is expecting of her horses and shares her thoughts on the facility and marathon course. Great Britain’s Holly Smith is making her championship debut and today she had two rails down in the first round of the team competition. We hear how she felt about her performance and what she is hoping for in the second round tomorrow with decides the team medals.
