Catherine Haddad-Staller rode Rowan Riley’s 11 year old mare Semper Fidelis to claim their first CDI3* Grand Prix Special win together in Europe this summer. This break out performance for the mare in Le Man, France came just a month after the partnership made their Big Tour debut and Catherine is excited about the horse's future. Catherine was previously based in Germany but now resides in Califon, New Jersey in the summer and Loxahatchee, Florida for the winter season. She has been sponsored by Rowan O’Riley for just over two years but only started riding Semper Fidelis (Sir Donnerhall x Welt Hit II) last year. Chris caught up with Catherine to learn more about this partnership and hear about the rest of her training program. Catherine also shares her personal fitness preferences too and what her priorities are now.
