This week's podcast didn't end up the way we intended. Normally we fill you in on your entertainment options be they films or streaming shows. But a dear friend of ours passed away all too suddenly last week: Gilbert Gottfried. You've no doubt heard all the tributes from famous comedians and justifiably so. He was a comic genius. But most of those famous people also said they never really got to know Gilbert. Well, it just so happens that Neil Rosen and Bill McCuddy both got to work and or interview him. And Bill Bregoli had a close personal friendship with Gilbert for well over twenty years. So we got Bill B to fill everyone in on what Gilbert was really like offstage and as a friend. It's a take on Gilbert you won't hear anywhere else. We just couldn't stop talking about him. Oh, and we still managed to cover the new Nicolas Cage comedy "The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent."
