After much sound and fury signifying nothing, NBC News was revealed (once again) to be #FakeNews after reporting that The Federalist's platform had been demonetized by Google over questionable content. Google later clarified that it objected to material found in the website's 'comments' section. However, Michael ponders whether this editorial discretion and influence makes Google a *publisher* (subject to libel and slander laws) or a *platform* (heretofore immune from such legal action by Congress). Also, Quaker Oats announces on Wednesday that the 'Aunt Jemima' logo and brand will be removed from American grocery store shelves. What brands will be next? Uncle Ben's? The Washington Redskins?
