- Missing Persons: The number of missing persons in Mexico is a complex issue, with many cases going unreported or uninvestigated. According to official government figures, there were over 85,000 registered missing persons cases as of January 2021. These numbers are likely underestimates due to underreporting and issues with record-keeping.
