On this month’s FAB podcast Datorria Robinson talks to Jacqie McWilliams, the first African American female Commissioner of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), the governing body of 12 member institutions and 14 championships. Commissioner McWilliams was a student athlete at Hampton University where she was a member of the 1988 NCAA DII Women’s Basketball Championship team and the 1987 and 1990 CIAA Volleyball Championship teams. Player of the Year, Freshman Player of the Year, All Conference all four years.  A former two sport student-athlete, she also spent time at the NCAA where she served as the Director of DI Women’s Basketball Tournament from 2006-2009, and the Men’s DI Tournament from 2007-2012.
