This has been a very tense time in major cities throughout the United States. First the pandemic and then major outbreaks of unrest, just two months apart. When businesses were burned and looted the weekend of May 30 amid the protests over George Floyd’s death, we found that security measures, procedures and protocol need to be reviewed and updated to address the new challenges we are faced with under these new conditions.
