Ambergris has an intoxicating smell. It has been a mystery for centuries. It been used as an aphrodesiac, in food, cocktails, incense and most widely in luxury perfumes. People thought it was volcanic rock from the ocean, dragon spit, some type of fruit, tree sap or some type of fungus. No one ever guess what it realy was, if they did they surely wouldnt have used it in food!
