PAYING FOR COLLEGE-TIPS AND ADVICE

If you have a son or daughter heading off to college in the fall, you are probably wondering and worrying about how are "they" and probably "you" going to pay for it.

Carolyn Julian, Student Aid Advisor and Veterans Affairs Coordinator with Penn State-Harrisburg has some valuable and easy to understand advice on how to acquire financial aid for college.

We will go over completing the application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and talk about loans, grants, scholarships and military benefits. We'll talk about deadlines for filing and even offer some advice on taking advantage of classes at HACC for college credit.
