Hey there surfers and beachgoers! Welcome to your go-to surf zone forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service. Get ready to catch some gnarly waves and soak up some sunshine!

Let's kick things off in the South Walton area, where we're looking at a moderate rip current risk today with surf heights around 3 feet. Expect mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid 70s. Don't forget your sunscreen as you hit the beaches of Sandestin and Santa Rosa Beach!

Moving over to Coastal Bay, including Panama City Beach, we're facing a high rip current risk through late Friday night. Surf heights around 2 feet with mostly cloudy conditions and temperatures in the mid 70s. Keep an eye out for those south winds picking up in the afternoon.

And for our friends at Coastal Gulf, including Saint Joe Beach, moderate rip current risks today with surf heights around 2 feet. Mostly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 70s. Enjoy those east winds becoming south as the day goes on.

Remember, always check the Rip Current Risk Categories and stay safe out there in the surf zone - we want to see you catching waves, not caught in rip currents!
