Edmundo channels the show's favorite Kiwi, Russell Blythe, as he presents his version of "Scores". Santiago Beltran talks STL City SC, and the concept of playoffs in MLS being a new concept for many of the the clubs key players who had never played in the league. Tom talks more about the Newcastle vs Man City match from Saturday 1/13, which he thought was one of the best regular matches he has seen in quite some time. Ted reports on the 5 hour broadcast of the NWSL college entry draft from Friday night, which was broadcast LIVE on the ION network. ION (part of Scripps Sports) is one of four platforms that will broadcast NWSL matches during the 2024 season. The other three are Paramount/CBS, Prime Video, and ESPN. Today's show was rough until we figured out that our phone guests could not hear us, but provided for lots of laughs and reinforced the "utterly ridiculous nature of the show."
