I was able to share this episode with my mormon wife and kids, and reflect together just how good life is and how little we have to complain. Thank you!

Contrary to the America-First comment below from Prescriptive Reasoning, I disappointed by this episode because it appeared to ignore the realities of how the middle class in the USA has so much to enjoy. The West - and I'm a Brit - historically and currently exploits millions of far poorer people, whole nations and regions of our planet to obtain the resources, products and services which make our lives so vastly more comfortable than theirs. Why did the USA and the UK enslave millions of Black folks? Only to provide free labour for growing cotton and other necessities for which our ancestors were not prepared to put in the backbreaking toil. These days, we use unfair, explitative trade agreements made under threat to force Africa and Asia to keep supplying us and ensuring our refrigerators are full, our cars well-fuelled and our health systems staffed. Your podcast simply ignored the vast underclass which supports you and me. Such ignorance allows the exploitation to continue, a fact on which Republican, Democrat, Tory and Labour politicians rely.

Confusing progress that was paid for with countless examples of sacrifice over many generations with being "spoiled rotten". No, Seth, your perspective is askew. Yes, there are those who take a lot for granted but that's on them. The rest of us appreciate what we have and respect how we got to where we are. Others? They aren't willing to sacrifice but they are willing to steal what we have, and you would let them do exactly that.
