In December 1982, William Clifton, aged 30, David McMicken, aged 24, and Michael Norman, aged 32, mysteriously disappeared after leaving a bar. The authorities were perplexed by their vanishing act until recently, when their car was discovered in a nearby creek. This discovery was made earlier this month, shedding light on their baffling disappearance. Interestingly, it was amateur sleuth Jason Souhrada who took matters into his own hands. Recognizing that no one had ever searched the area, which happened to be on the men's route home, he ingeniously attached a low-cost sonar device to a boogie board.
After 41 years, an amateur detective has been praised by three grieving families for uncovering the probable final resting place of their loved ones. With only a makeshift sonar and his own intuition, this individual has managed to achieve what had eluded the police for decades.
