The Seahawks had a chance to claim a playoff spot yesterday, but fell short of a win over the 49ers. We hear from Pete Carroll doing his weekly Monday press conference, with updates on McDougald, KJ, and more. We suspected this had all the makings of a letdown game, and it seems that's what we got. The Seahawks were the better team, but gave the game away, especially on penalties, racking up 14 for 148 yards. Sebastian Janikowski showed absolutely no effort on that kickoff return. If we had any other option at kicker, it'd be time to use it now. That was a cuttable offense.
