Alas, Dick Fain has returned from a nice long vacation as we get things back to normal on the radio show. This is of course Dick's first chance to react to the Russell Wilson contract signed earlier this week. There seems to be a lot of backlash out there, less from the contract itself and more from the video he released from his bedroom. Does it make him look bad, and does it lower your opinion of him? Some people seem to think so. Yes, we paid our quarterback a lot of money, but we paid a quality QB, not some random low-level guy. The Hawks now just need to focus on drafting and developing young players around him, which, fortunately, they are pretty good at doing. Tiger obviously won his first Major in years last weekend, and Dick was ecstatic to share the moment with his kids. We are so fractured in this country, even as sports fans, rooting for our local teams and such, that there aren't many athletes that can unite us all like Tiger can.
