These are chapters 2 & 3 from my book entitled Simply Irresistible. 

Chapter 2 is short, in it I explain the importance of avoiding stating the first thought that enters your mind.

Chapter 3 talks about the importance of first understanding social dynamics before trying to make a big impression on a new social group. I explain and how why people are either expelled from groups or blocked entry and how to make adjustments that maximize admittance to virtually any new group.

I essentially give you permission and explain why it is acceptable and even wise to be shy in the early stages of entering a new social group.
