Teru Clavel is a comparative education expert and author of the recently (Sept 2019) published book World Class. Riveting and humorous all at the same time, the book kept me turning page after page wondering how I could have even managed to navigate the lifelong learning process as a parent without her insight and crucial advice up until now.
So grateful for the time spent with Teru, hearing her take on her experiences in Asian education and parenting philosophies and how to integrate them into American culture. A smart and funny woman, she made me think hard about the next chapters coming for me and how I plan to advocate for my own beliefs.
