Trigger Warning: Suicide/Loss
It's hard to know what to say when loss happens, especially the loss of a young person. The title of this episode is weirdly fitting, as one of the hardest parts of loving someone is when you lose them. For those who haven't heard, Garrison Brown took his life last week and although we didn't know him personally, we're also grieving in our own way at this news. Our thoughts are so with the Brown Family during this unthinkable time.
We wanted to do something to honor Garrison, so we've donated our proceeds from the podcast thus far to two charities we felt would be most fitting. If you are able to, please consider donating in Garrison's memory.

We start this episode by discussing this sad update in the life of the Browns, and do continue to talk about the Season 8 Episode 1 episode. Our decision to recap the episode was not in any way to make light of the events of this week, but rather to still connect by talking about a family who all of us have been familar with for many years, and to reminisce about lighter times.
This week Robyn's son Dayton goes into surgery in a risky attempt to fix an eyelid damaged in an ATV accident and Madison heads off to college.
