Easter has felt very different this year. However this will be normalised when Cas lose a couple of matches in May and daryl powell laments the effects of the busy Easter Period

A great point regarding player insurance. The response and charity by the game for Mose is great but the contrast between players like Mose and NRL tactically moving players like Sam Burgess , Morgan etc off an NRL cap is a stark contrast.

The RL in the UK has written off North America and Canada , so in a sense we (Europe) and established RL have no right to be too judgemental regarding North America. It's their money and vision so good luck to them.

Related but not strictly on topic. Martin Vickers now appointed as General Manager at Fev. Not a great track record at Toronot. Looks like another James Rule like appointment. How do the same names keep getting these gigs ?

The issue with Percival was that he was given a 5year contract when he first got injured last season, before he proved he was fit again. That was a shocking decision.

Good signings all round. Wamsley eanred his contract and still has hunger. Great for Simm which seems to be a cue for KevN's departure. Wingfield is highly rated and means that there are options alongide Bentley/Knowles , should one of them they go and keep their wage demands honeest shuld they stay.

Credit to Hodgson. The Hull mafia who have let them down in recent seasons Taylor Houghton etc are playing plus the islanders on big paypackets are playing for him. Getting something out of the rest Swift Cator and Dre Savelio. He is doing a holbrook. Putting smiles on faces and getting something out of the squad that Radford and Last (Hull Boot room) couldn't.

I think Hull and Cas have had a good start to the season and look strong across the park and have been good in defence.

Agree with the oberservations of the panel no point in repeating. A creditable mention for Batchelor. Often overlooked. Came in and did a realy good job. Looks like he is developing into a prop rather than a SR.
