I don't think any party comes out of the Williams thing very well. Kent and Hooper are big mates of Ricky Stewart and have history with Bateman. The interesting sidebar for me is that William's agent is a bloke called Clarke (Phil's brother). One of the company directors of this Agency is Ian lenegan. Is that not a conflict of interest ? A club owner owning an agent company. That's a minefield.

A much more enjoyable watch from Saints especially without both 1st choice wingers. Hull off par but Saints played more heads up rugby . Felt sorry for Simm did well but didn't get a pass. Interesting that Batchelor's agent making the point on twitter regarding him getting a proper chance in the second row. Both points raise a question over Thompson. He got some better reviews over his metres and tackles but after 7 games his stats are 0 busts , 1 offload and ? passes. Clearly a quality player but is he waht Saints needed ? (especially with Bentley's furture in doubt).
