The Chicago Bears collapsed and allowed the Lions to creep back in and win 31-26 on Sunday. The loss helps in the Bears' hopes for two high draft picks, but it continues to show how far this team is from competing.
From 2022 to 2023, the Chicago Bears had plenty of turnover. Roughly 50% of the roster changed and we can expect a large number of players moving on with new faces arriving in 2024 too.
The Chicago Bears elected to start Lucas Patrick over Cody Whitehair in Week 11 vs. the Lions. That wasn't shocking, but when Patrick left the game due to an injury, Whitehair wasn't even the backup.
