This month, we are joined by Jennifer Nemeth, Business Operations and Staffing Coordinator with the VHA Homeless Programs Office to learn about how VA provides smartphones to homeless Veterans so that they can stay connected to their housing providers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ms. Nemeth talks about the origins of the telehomeless initiative and why, in today’s hyperconnected world, smartphones are a necessity.
Veterans who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness are strongly encouraged to contact the National Call Center for Homeless Veterans at (877) 4AID-VET (877-424-3838) for assistance.

Hi Ms. Estrada. Thank you for your comment. We understand your frustration. Please send us an email at HomelessVets@va.gov so that we can assist. For faster help, you can also call the National Call Center for Homeless Veterans at 877-4AID-VET (877-424-3838). I'm a homeless veteran living in Los Angeles CA. I need a place to stay preferably my own domain...like an apartment or a home. Its been 4 years of couch surfing although I'm gainfully employed. I'm NOT understanding how other vets are being helped without issues yet I suffer from PTSD/MST/Chronic Migrains to say the least. I'm literally begging for HELP to NO AVAIL!!!!!! Yet YALL are always saying you're gonna help and NEVER DO!!!!! Do my Degrees scare you or does my work history pose a threat of some sort?! I've been a Constituent Service Representative for CongressWomen Tulsi Gabbard and have held other prestigious position and served well!!!! Do I have to be suicidal to get HELP or on DRUGS?! Well if so THATS NOT MY PORTION!!!! God didn't make me like that!!!!!
