On this episode, Kathryn and Shannon talk to Lee Farquhar, Butler Associate Journalism and Sports Media professor in the College of Communication, about his research in social media. His research focuses on applying social psychological theory to online interactions and online communities. Lee also discusses the phenomenon of comparing yourself on social media to others, shares how his research on Facebook and Instagram could translate to other popular social media networks, and shares different perspectives about social media addiction.
