Growing up in and around the famous Brendan Ingle gym in Sheffield, Ryan spent his childhood surrounded by boxing royalty with stars such as Prince Naseem Hamed, Herol Graham and Johnny Nelson being a part of his everyday life. Turning professional at just nineteen he won the British title in record time and also held the European belt. In 2011 he once again mixed with a great sharing the ring with Saul Canelo Alvarez. Here Ryan shares his memories.
