Roles People Live – The Paranoid Person

This week on It’s Your Ego—Stupid!, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely at people who are living in the role of the Paranoid Person. The Paranoid Person has developed a significant distrust for all that is going on around them. They form rigid, inflexible thoughts, particularly about people, often lacking in social validation, which are intended to keep them safe. The only thinking they can and will trust is their own. Exposing themselves to the thinking of others is looked upon by them as placing themselves at risk. Changing their own thinking is also looked upon as dangerous because it represents an admission that they weren’t as protected by their thoughts as they thought they were.

During this show, I’ll be drawing upon my book The Two Voices Within to look at the impact of lower ego flexibility on the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of those living in the role of the Paranoid Person. I’ll be looking at the “voice” of ego and the messages the Paranoid Person is experiencing and working with due to the mixture of their lower ego flexibility energy and their mind. Many of them, the Paranoid Person is unaware of, but still exerting a powerful negative impact on their life and unfortunately others. I’ll also be looking at what their ego energy is doing to block the Paranoid Person from hearing the voice of spirit which is rooted in their Divinity. An inability to recognize the Love, Life, and Energy—God Is, within their being, due to the great distance being created by their ego energy. When the Paranoid Person is able to “hear” the mistruths contained within ego’s voice and the truths in spirit’s voice, the door to transformation can open, and the days of living in the role of Paranoid Person can be ended.
