It takes three vein specialists to do a good job writing new guidelines on the care of varicose veins. And that's why we're here today. We have three people that are on the SVS AVF committee (Peter Gloviczki, Peter Lawrence, and Mark Meissner) to rewrite the guidelines for the care of patients with varicose veins. Why do we need new guidelines? Don't we already know what we need to do to take care of varicose veins?
