This 20th anniversary of the events of 9-11 stirs memories of both loss and trauma for those who are old enough to remember. This week on Destination Unlimited, my wife, Rev. Laurie Sue Brockway, and I share the unlikely series of events that led both of us to serve as chaplains for the Red Cross at the Family Assistance Center set up by New York City. We will discuss our personal experiences leading up to that fateful day, how the day unfolded for us, and how we answered the call to service.
